Since you Scoff When I Say you are the Best Kisser I've Ever Met

A kiss is not an invasion. It is not merely
an exploration. Some of the good kisses

I remember happened before you.
They were tall and dark and most of them,

handsome. Some knew a kiss was not a waltz
in the mouth, not a hungry, ravishing jaw

waiting to devour you up. Some taught me that a kiss
is not a test. It cannot patch up the leak in your heart.

Kissing you made me feel like I was a planet
orbiting around your anabolic warmth.

No string of gravity to hold me down
but falling always, towards the dark

of your opium tongue.
