Working Class Nero

I’m a Working Class Nero,
I wear a Crown of Thoughts,
This time, I think I’ll throw,
Lions to Christians for sport.

I’m a Working Class Nero,
On these streets I roam,
Everywhere is my home,
’Cos all roads lead to Rome.

I’m a Working Class Nero,
And Nero never works,
I leave that for ‘Superheroes’,
And other costumed jerks.

I’m a Working Class Nero,
For Glamour, Glory, and Gold,
First, we’ll take the road to Damascus,
And then — onwards — to Eldorado…
