Election 1976
Until this election
Until I saw his poster
I did not know his face
I did not know his name.His people put up posters
That’s all I see they do
They did not canvass house to house
Even though election’s due.Though it’s election time
I have not heard his speeches.
He can still meet me face to face
He can still make me promises.He was our last MP
He hopes to be the next
He can still get to know me
Before polling day.
